46 years, woman, right inguinal hernia symptons (localized pain after physical effort for 2 years. Clinical examination showed right inguinal hernia.
Surgical History: 1 Cesarea
Laparoscopy Hernioplasty was performed.
The video shows a step-by-step surgery, highlighting the main landmarks for a safe hernioplasty It was found a small obturatory hernia (with no clinical importance).
During the surgery only permanent material were used. 2x5mm working trocars (one on each flank) and 1 10mm permanent trocar on the umbilical scar.
To fix the mesh on the cooper ligament and on the rectus muscle only suture were used.
To close the peritonium running suture of prolene.
After the surgery, patient were discharged next day, without any symptom.
