This lady who was in her late 40s, had complex atypical hyperplasia and was known to have stage 4 endometriosis but only had mild symptoms for endometriosis. TLH BSO was decided upon and she was operated on our joint 2-surgeon operating list. Length of procedure was just over 5 hours.

this video demonstrates the use of cold scissors (avoidance of diathermy around bowel) in shaving the RV nodule off the surface of rectum.
