Morbidly obese female with BMI 50. She asked for a safe surgery with no complications. She had lost 7 kg within 10 days after gastric plication and she is very happy with this surgery. i think this kind of surgery is very suitable for our Egyptian patients. plication is effective, safe and cheep. compared to sleeve gastrectomy, plication costs half price since i do not use the expensive staplers. actually this surgery is more challenging for me and take longer time but better for obese patients.
