BRCA 1 和 2 突变在 70 岁时患卵巢癌的累积风险分别为 41% 和 15%，而 BRCA1 突变携带者在 80 岁时患乳腺癌的累积风险为 72% 和 69 % 用于 BRCA2 突变携带者。 NCCN 建议降低风险的输卵管卵巢切除术 (RRSO)，通常在 35 到 40 岁之间，并且在 BRCA1 突变的生育完成后，而将 RRSO 延迟到 40-45 岁的患者来管理卵巢癌风险是合理的 与 BRCA2。 近年来，腹腔镜检查有两条主要的发展路线。 前者涉及单点腹腔镜的发展，后者涉及腹腔镜器械的小型化（微型/微型腹腔镜）。

在本病例报告中，展示了使用 MiniLap® 经皮手术系统对 BRCA 突变患者进行预防性附件切除术的经验。
