多趾畸形是一种先天性异常，其特征是额外的手指，范围从原始结构到完全发育的副线。多指畸形一般分为三组：内侧（轴前）和中央或外侧（轴后）。轴后多指是指足外侧的一个完整或部分多指。Patau综合征（13三体）包括唇腭裂、前脑无裂、多指畸形、摇尾足、小眼畸形、小头畸形和严重智力低下。

Patau综合征（也称为13三体综合征）被认为是第三常见的常染色体三体综合征。

Patau综合征、唐氏综合征（21三体）和爱德华综合征（18三体）是唯一与宫外生活相适应的三个三体。然而，很少有婴儿能活几天以上。

流行病学

估计发病率约为1:6000。随着母亲年龄的增长，发病率可能会增加。
