强直性脊柱炎（不太常见的称为Bechterew病或Marie-Strümpell病）是一种血清阴性的脊柱关节病，可导致脊柱和骶髂关节融合（强直），尽管大关节和小关节也有受累。

流行病学

传统上认为男性倾向于3:1或更高，但是这种疾病的性别倾向是最近争论和研究的问题（女性可能诊断不足）。根据一些研究，男性倾向于更严重的疾病。这种疾病通常表现在年轻人身上，第一个症状在第三个十年变得明显，尽管高达18%的病例在第二个十年表现出来。
