Small fishbone at tongue base causing persistent pricking pain upon swallowing was removed as an ourpatient procedure.  Topical anaesthesia spray was given to enable better tolerance and minimize gag reflex.  The patient is seen holding his tongue our while the ENT specialist attempt to remove the foreign body (one hand holding forceps and the opposite hand holding the angled endoscope) with the view seen on TV monitor in realtime.
