Two types of uvula behavior in 2 different snorers are shown in this video. These uvula were abnormal - the former be elongated and flabby and the latter abnormally flutters together with the soft palate even while the patient is awake - likewise it is expected to be worse during sleep resulting in severe snoring or even sleep apnoea. The endoscopic view is from a distal chip flexible endoscope introduced through the nasal cavity and stop just above the soft palate area. |
