Children with noisy breathing or other airway problems, need a formal camera assessment of their breathing passage assessed under a general anaesthetic to diagnose and treat their problem. This is done by paediatric ENT Consultants trained to do these examinations and manage these conditions. This assessment is done while the child is deeply sedated but breathing on their own to get a dynamic assessment of the airways.
