35 year old gentleman presented with bleeding per rectum. Colonoscopy was done which showed a large polyp in the left colon at the recto-sigmoid junction (it is a subpedunculated polyp with very short stalk). Biopsy suggestive of tubular adenoma with moderate dysplasia. Endoscopic mucosal resection was done with enbloc resection and extraction of the polyp. Mucosal defect closed with hemoclips. |
