This nice young lady has chronic tenosynovitis of her left thumb extensors.  She has been in a brace which cocks up the thumb as well has received a cortisone injection in the past.  She is here for a second cortisone injection.   Hopefully this time, she will have a better response.  The shot alone will not help.  She will need to do her own therapy including wearing the proper brace, using ICE and resting.
