This operative procedural video demonstrates the performance of abdominal was reconstruction with open incisional hernia repair for an obese patient with complex incisional herniation (both midline and at the site of stoma closure). The patient previously had had both a Hartmann's procedure and reversal of same. A synthetic mesh is placed in the retrorectus plane and an abdominoplasty is performed.. The video is associated with a manuscript which contains further case details and is under consideration for publication by the journal Colorectal Disease.
