Linda Baker, M.D. pediatric urologist and professor of urology at Children's Medical Center of Dallas/University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center has popularized the use of autologous buccal mucosa graft for total/partial neovagina creation or redo operations. She has also introduced this technique to address complex congenital abnormalities in children such as cloaca, urogenital sinus, partial absence of the vagina, etc.
