Young men with erectile dysfunction secondary to blunt pelvic (pelvic fracture), perineal (bicycle riding) or penile (penile fracture) trauma are candidates for this procedure. The surgery engages an anastomosis between the donor inferior epigastric artery (luminal diameter 1.2 mm) and the recipient dorsal penile artery (luminal diameter 0.8 mm). Success with the procedure is 60-70%. |
