A 62 years beaurocrat, on his annual checkup found to have a cystic leision in the pelvis reaching up to the right iliac fossa on ultrasonography. CECT abdomen was suggestive of a tubular cystic lesion of size 15 x 6.2 x6.3 cm in right iliac fossa arising from ileocecal region suggestive of mucocele of appendix. Patient was admitted and underwent laparoscopic resection of giant mucocele
