Rectal prolapse was unsuccessfully treated with purse-string suture 2 times. Colopexy is preferred treatment for cats with rectal prolapse. Descending colon was sutured to the left abdominal wall to prevent rectal prolapse. Pedicle tie technique was used to spay kitten.
