Empyma ( Pus in Gall Bladder ) due to delay in diagnosis and Surgery. There was lot of adhesion encountered at every step of surgery. Patient was suffering from pain attacks from last one year at least. We have to save the vital structures connecting liver to the body like 1. Common Bile duct which brings bile from the liver to the intestine. 2. Portal vein which brings blood from intestine to liver and 3. Hepatic artery which supplies blood to the liver. In addition we have to save large and small intestine which becomes adherent to the inflamed gall bladder. ---- Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy was performed successfully by Dr Narotam Dewan, Dewan Hospital & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Center, Sangat Road, Civil Lines, Ludhiana.
