This video shows the technique for a hand sewn intracorporeal isoperistaltic anastomosis between the ileum and sigmoid colon.
The patient is a 78 year old female with colon cancers in the cecum and transverse colon. The da Vinci Si system is used for all portions of the procedure. The specimen was removed through a 2 inch incision at the site of the suprapubic 8mm port location.
