Dr. Cheryl Olson narrates a single incision robotic cholecystectomy, which is the removal of a gall bladder through one incision at the umbilicus, also known as the navel or belly button.

The da Vinci® surgical system enables surgeons to perform operations through a few small incisions and features several key features, including a magnified vision system that gives Dr. Olson a 3D HD view inside the patient's body; an ergonomically designed console where Dr. Olson sits while operating, and wristed instruments that bend and rotate with improved mobility over the human hand.
