This video shows the use the Inion freedom plate system for fractures of the lateral mallelolus, medial malleolus and syndesmosis. The plate system are digested over time and reduces the risk of needing a second surgery to remove the hardware. The plate and screws are absorbed by the body and no plate or screw will remain over time. The plate is bendable and can be contoured to your bone. It is useful in treatment of fractures of both the upper and lower body and can be used in children and adults.
