This video depicts a laparoscopic cardiomyotomy performed by Dr Deepraj Bhandarkar in a young boy with achalasia cardia using mini-laparoscopic (3mm) instruments. This surgery provides excellent long-term relief to patients with achalasia cardia and is considered the gold standard of treatment today.
