In this video, Dr. Farshid Araghizadeh demonstrates his technique for repair of a large, complex parastomal hernia (associated with a large midline incisional hernia), using a component separation technique and implantation of biologic (Strattice) Mesh. This particular case is a hernia associated with a urostomy (ileal conduit), but this technique is also applicable to repair of hernias associated with a colostomy or an ileostomy.
