This technique is easier from medial approach in case of big myoma and bad anatomical access to the postérior leaf of the broad ligament
This technique has several advantages.
Firstly it reduces bleeding during the surgery.
Secondly, it will shrink small fibroids that were missed during the surgery
Lastly it may prevent recurrance of new fibroids.
