结肠镜检查-乙状结肠癌-假阴性活检

A middle aged man was referred for endoscopic mucosal resection as the biopsies came back as adenoma although the lesion appeared to harbor cancer. This lesion has endoscopic features of cancer, including submucosal invasion as documented by a non-lifting sign. Biopsies from the central area confirmed cancer. Tattoo and a clip followed by an abdominal x-ray were done to localize the tumor at surgery.
