Video shows a regular case of cholecystectomy, safe and costless techinique (no metal clips, no disposable instruments, no expensive endobag).
Case description: Patient was 81 years old lady, assintomatic, with ultrasonograph + for gallstones.
5mm working trocars were used, dissection made with monopolar hook (ValleyLab Force 2 settings: Cut 40w, Coag: 30w, Blend 2 - only coagulation mode were used). After dissection of the infundibulum cystic artery and duct were skeletonized. Artery was cauterized withe the hook and the duct tied with vicryl 0 knots. After posterior dissection of the gallbladder and was detached and retrieved in a handmade endobag. No bleeding observed during the surgery.
Patient discharged to home next day from the surgery.
