A middle aged woman who had prior unsuccessful resection of a large sigmoid colon polyp was referred for surgery; she wanted to undergo endoscopic resection. The polyp was stuck to the wall from prior resections. Here the hot biopsy was used to remove the residual stuck polyp after piecemeal EMR.
