SILS阑尾“高级技术”

This is a new technique of single incision surgery where a small incision of 2.5 cm is made and 3 conventional 5 mm trocars are inserted. We use the conventional instruments. The fascial defect is only minimal as we dont open the entire abdominal wall for the 2.5 cm. At end the 5mm defects need not be closed. This technique is superior as the chances of port site hernia is almost nil offering the cosmetical advantages of SILS as well without the need of any costly instruments or SILS port.
