Distal penile hypospadias is the most common type of hypospadias in children. Most of the distal hypospadias with or without chordee are repaired in single stage by a surgery known as Tubularised incised plate urethroplasty (TIP urethroplasty) as described by Dr Warren Snodgrass. Hence it is also called as Snodgrass repair.
Dr A.K.Singal is a renowned Pediatric urologist and one of the best hypospadias surgeon's in India. He is the founder of Hypospadias Foundation where he operates children from all over the world. He is an expert in doing single stage hypospadias repair procedure for distal penile, mid penile proximal penile, penoscrotal and even scrotal hypospadias.
