this is a female patient suffering from ca rectum, on exploration we were confronted with a direct invasion between the rectum and the uterine cervix . we decided to proceed to low anterior resection combined with hysterectomy en block.the specimen was exteriorised transvaginaly and the anvil placed transvaginaly ,to perform a stapled anastomosis.
