Lenard Serafica, 28th Day, Diabetic Gangrene, UPROTC Corps Experiences, Part 1
Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 4:40 p.m. After I was convinced that amputation, it being hammered in that the right foot was dead, we recall our ROTC days.
Subsequently, I would be convinced that the leg is alive by the casual remarks of other visitors. It is like we are about to close a coffin but what if the "corpse" is just asleep. Edwin Fernandez mulls that he doubts that the leg is dead and that suspicion keeps sinking in.
We recall how Lenard always kept the pot boiling. Something was always up, and he kept boredom at bay. His mind has always been active and he always THOUGHT OUT OF THE BOX!
In his current state of being intubated (and thus enable to talk) and being strapped down with all kinds of wires, if no one would come near him or even look at him, he can be treated or avoided as just a piece of furniture.
