Acute cholecystitis after sleeve gastrectomy. Emergency lap_chole. -Unedited- by Prof Yerdel
Gallbladder stones occur more frequently in obese and in those who loose considerable weight in a short period of time. In this video; the removal of an acutely inflamed gallbladder in a patient who had previously undergone sleeve gastrectomy at another center is presented. We routinely remove "stone" bearing gallbladders in patients undergoing bariatric procedures. This case is a good example why we do so.
