颈动脉内膜切除结合OPCAB

Patient: Rustam Ali
Age: 55 years
Risk Factors: non diabetic, smoker,
Diagnosis: Triple Vessel Disease with Left main 60% & Right main 60% involvement with 90-95% rightt common carotid artery stenosis including external & internal carotid arteries and 50 - 55% left common carotid artery stenosis
Surgery: Combined carotid endarterectomy with OPCAB
Date of operation: 26-08-2015
Surgeon: Prof. Dr. Asit Baran Adhikary
Patient had h/o unconsciousness and ventilatory support for 3 days during carotid angiogram, so carotid angiogram could not be done.
Patient also had history of loss of consciousness for short duration for multiple times previously.
The patient had visited all the cardiac medical centers and hospitals in Bangladesh, but noone was willing to perform the surgery as noone in Bangladesh except Prof. A B Adhikary had the experience to perform these two operations (CABG & Carotid endarterectomy) together.
The patient has now returned home safe & sound.
