Gastroesophageal reflux can be treated best by laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery. Our present approach is to do a modified Toupet's to all patients because of our previous experience based on 1000 consecutive anti-reflux procedures. We have published our first 1000 patients in different contexts & can be easily reached through PUBMED. Basically; Toupet works almost as good as a Nissen as far as the "reflux" control is concerned . But ! : both dysphagia & bloating related problems & also the bougie related mishaps will be almost eliminated by Toupet. A straightforward modified Toupet's is presented in this video.
