This patient was diagnosed with throat cancer related to Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), or p16. The tumor is centered on the back wall of the throat, or the posterior pharyngeal wall. The patient has elected to undergo Transoral Robotic Surgery, or TORS, as a primary treatment.
