Repositioning of Aphakic Artisan IOL from retropupillary Position to AC Position

A 10 years old child presented with left Aphakia following posterior lens dislocation from blunt trauma treated with retropupillary aphakic artisan implantation.
Unfortunately postoperative examination of the child showed downward displacement of the artisan IOL that required another surgical interference for release of the artisan haptics from the iris and repositioning of the aphakic artisan IOL into the anterior chamber.
