Operation 28 - TSSM with Prothesis and TiLoop mesh - Later Nipple Areola excision
A case of Total Skin Sparing Mastectomy (TSSM) is presented. Immediate reconstruction was made with silicone prothesis using the TiLoop titanized mesh for full coverage of the prothesis in addition to thoracic major muscle. Retroareolar biopsies while negative intraoperatively were positive in permanent histology. The nipple/areola complex was removed in a second operation.
